When talking about tasty food, how can we forget Italian food? Your visit to Italy cannot be complete unless you taste the mouth-watering Italian food. Pastas, pizzas, cheese, sausages, sea food, Italian cuisine has something for everybody. The list does not end here. Italy is also famous for its quality wines and fruits like oranges, olives, tangerines, prickly pears and almonds. After reading this list, you must be tempted to enjoy the sumptuous Italian delicacies. There are numerous good restaurants in Italy that offer a large regional variety of lip-smacking Italian cuisines. These Italian food restaurants are spread in almost every city of Italy.

Many Italian food restaurants offer lunch or dinner in following course- antipasti (hot or cold appetizer), primo (starter such as pasta, gnocchi, risotto, soup or polenta), contorno (small side serving such as vegetables or salad), secondo (main course) and dolce (dessert). All of the original taste of Italy right in your own dining room.

Why eat out when you can have your own original Italian dinner at home. North Italy provides the best of Italian foods. You can experience many of the down home italian taste. Many restaurants in Naples are popular for serving a wide variety of authentic pizzas and pastas.

Stuffed pasta including the Cappelletti of Romagna and the Tortellini of Emilia, Bologna's Mortadella, Zamponi (stuffed trotter sausage) of Modena, Fagioli all'uccelletto (beans sautéItalian restaurants in Central Italy are known for their unique blends of spices. You can also enjoy lip-smacking sea-food dishes in Italian restaurants. If you are craving Italian desserts, Sicilian restaurants are for you. It is a great pleasure for the tourists to enjoy the tasty Italian delicacies while sipping sweet wine.
