The Stolen Horses Band is a great up and coming country music band in West Michigan. Led by lead singer David Lyle, they are influenced by many country music artists far and wide. Davids style resembles a combination of Dwight Yoakam and Waylon Jennings, who he grew up listening to. Stolen Horses consists of a five piece band which includes drums, vocals, guitar, bass and fiddle. Some notable songs done by Stolen Horses are Hick Town by Jason Aldean and Devil Went Down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels. Both these songs fit their band arrangement very well and are played at almost all shows. They are building a lot of buzz in the Grand Rapids area and are opening up for a lot of great national acts that are coming into town. Some recent bands they have opened for are The Zac Brown Band, Trailer Choir, Drew Davis, and the Johnny Cash Tribute Band. They have done a lot of promotional shows that have been sponsored by the radio station B93, including most recently at the Bob in Grand Rapids. They are scheduled to play at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI for the Randy Houser Concert which is scheduled to happen on Friday May 22 at 8PM. Being that it is predicted to be a sold out show, it is recommended that you get there as early as possible. B93 is expected to sponsor this particular show. Randy Houser is an up and coming solo country artist that has got a great country voice. The show is only 12 dollars in advance and tickets are available currently at ticketmaster. This would definitely be a great show to go to if you like driving country music.
