Cranberry Juice - Its Benefits And Consumption Technique

By: Robert.Henry Home | Health-and-Fitness | Alternative-Medicine

Cranberry juice is a beverage that has numerous health benefits. Some people hate it while some love it. Its bitter taste can be modified with sweeteners. Moreover, it is ideal for the cure of bacteria related ailments. It is primarily used for urinary tract infections. Its cohesive power attracts e-coli bacterium and flushes it from the body.

It is also used to cure bacteria related issues like ear infections and respiratory problems. It kills Haemophilus influenzae, a bacterium that leads to several nose and throat infections. The cranberry juice inhibits the bacterium's pilli, a hair like structure that is responsible for the adhering characteristics of the infectious bacterium. Hence, it prevents inflammation of body parts.

However, you shouldn't overdo with the consumption of cranberries. Excess intake of the solution leads to obesity, diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain, tooth cavities, gastrointestinal problems etc. Patients should consume the natural remedy in a required quantity to avoid any severe issues. You can speak to a doctor and ask him/her to recommend a dosage for the concerned disease.

You can also consume the cranberries in the following manner. All you need is a tea bag of green tea and two cups of pure Cranberry Juice. Boil one pint of water in a container. Now, dip the tea bag into it and allow it to step in. Pour this solution in a quarter containers and add the juice of cranberry to it. Keep the mixture in refrigerator and drink it once it cools down.

You can drink the solution as a cold drink or heat it on the stove. Adults should drink one glass of the solution twice in a day, while children should drink half glass of cranberry twice in a day. If you find it difficult to gulp cranberry, then you can buy cranberry capsules from a medical store. You should take the medication until the infection is completely resolved.
