Custom Built Computers

By: JessicaThomson Home | Computers-and-Technology | Games

Well most of us have come across this saying "one man's food is another man's poison", well this one goes hand in hand with computers and its users too. Most of us use computers at work, for managing our budgets and administration. Well some use it for designing different soft wares and programming, while some corporate executives use them for dealing with shares and stocks.
The computer may be perfect for one, while the other may find it suitable in some other way. This is however because the computer is used in many ways by different individuals. Moreover the computers capability of performing wide range of operation makes it a multiple usage device. Therefore the computer can be designed according to one's wishes and desires. This is one of the leading reasons as to why most of the people opt for a custom built computer.
The custom built computer also proves to be much affordable as compared to its counterpart. This is because most of the assembling components that make one come at a cheaper price. Another great benefit that can be associated with the custom built computer is that, it can be designed both for gaming as well as other uses.
However most of the people in today's world use the desktop computer, for surfing the internet and word processing. So if you claim to have your needs falling within this class, then you would not come across any problem when looking out for one. However while deciding on your processor there are basically two alternatives, like one could go for the Intel or AMD. It's also important to see that if your computer use restricts to internet surfing or word processing, then there is no need to update your processor.
It's not only your processor but also the computer memory, which depends according to your needs too. The amount of your RAM depends on your usage, like using your computer for downloading movies and games, would require you to upgrade your RAM up to 2 GB. But in case you use your computer for surfing the internet or word processing, then a 256mb RAM is all that you need. As said in the beginning, it all depends on your needs and specifications.
And just in case you happen to be a big time online gamer, then you would need to upgrade your RAM up to 1GB or 2 GB. This would also enhance your gaming experience along with providing you a digital picture resolution.
