Cyrobank Offers Clients Screened Sperm Donors And Sibling Registry

By: Daniel Marcus Manson Home | Health-and-Fitness

People who are interested in starting or adding to their existing family but who can't conceive on their own may consider sperm donation as an option to help them reach their goal. Cyrobank is a facility offering highly screened donors to prospective parents. A sibling registry is also offered so that children can find their biological siblings.

Not all potential sperm donors are accepted by Cyrobank. The facility takes steps to ensure that all the men who become approved sperm donors meet a certain standard. All men who are candidates for sperm donation through Cyrobank are between the ages of 19-38 years of age. They are either currently enrolled in university or have completed the requirements for a Bachelor's degree or a higher level of education.

Candidates for sperm donation must be at least 5'9" in height and in good health. They must also be legally authorized to work in the United States. These are only the minimum requirements set by the facility for their sperm donors. An extensive screen process is performed, and only about one percent of the men who meet these standards are accepted into the program.

Clients can choose to purchase multiple vials so that they work with the same donor if they choose to have a second child. Cyrobank offers storage facilities for sperm donation purposes. Clients can also specify whether they want a standard sperm donation or if they would like the specimen to be pre-washed prior to freezing.

Cyrobank offers an optional sibling registry for babies born as the result of their services. At some point, the children will have questions about the circumstances surrounding they way they were conceived. They may also wonder if they have biological siblings and want to contact them with questions or to develop a relationship with them.

After enrolling in the sibling registry, clients are able to see information listed by donor number. They can see when potential siblings of their child were born. Member families can communicate with the families of potential siblings to share information as desired. Signing up for the sibling registry is optional; Cyrobank understands that not all families that it works with are interested in participating.

Cyrobank is a well-respected facility that has been offering sperm donation services to clients for over 30 years. Clients can rest assured that the donor they choose has been thoroughly screened and that anyone who doesn't meet the facility's high standards is excluded from becoming a candidate for sperm donation.

Potential donors and clients are invited to visit Cyrobank online at cyrobank.com to learn more about the services the facility offers and to see whether this is something they are interested in pursuing further.
