Dental Implants-learn How Implants Are Placed

By: Irwin Si Home | Health-and-Fitness

The human body is full of organs which are necessary for living a healthy life. One of the important organs of human body is teeth. Teeth are very important when it comes to eating and without them, it’s very difficult for one to live their whole life comfortably.

In the past people use to carry their life without teeth or use dentures, which were very costly and not very successful. Now there are many options to get new teeth and one of the most successful and accurate cures are dental implants. Dental implants have become more common because they provide more support and a natural feel and look.

Dental implants are for everyone who has lost their teeth. In order to make the dental implant at first you should consult a dentist, he will first take the x ray or your teeth in order to know the condition of the teeth and how much incision is necessary. At the time of surgery your doctor gives you local anesthesia and makes the incision in your gum as much necessary. He drills a hole into the bone and places the implant and closes the gum with stitches.. He may take an x ray of your teeth post surgery. During the next few months the bone slowly gets attached to the implant.

After a few months when the bones get attached, your dentist will perform the second phase on the dental implant. He will give you a small amount of local anesthesia and make a small incision to expose the dental implant. At this time your dentist will replace the protective screw installed during the first surgery with an abutment. Then after healing for a few weeks it’s the time for the final installation of the bridge or crown.

So by doing this easy step of operations you will get your teeth which are very natural and will be like your original teeth. Its simplicity and success rate is the only reason of the popularity of the dental implant and evolved as the best treatment of tooth loss.

Go for dental implants because your teeth are important to your appearance and your overall health. Your Smile is the first thing people notice and it’s also very important for your life. So keep smiling.
