Designer Groom Wear: Perfect Attire For Men

By: Dorothea Home | News-and-Society | Marriage

Up until the past decade, only the attire of the bride received special attention on the wedding day. However, designer groom wear are getting a lot of focus owing to the celebrity marriages that are covered on television. The grooms these days are equally getting conscious of their looks and want to really show-off their charm and personality on the wedding day. Designers now have started designing custom made designer groom wear especially for bridegrooms, and first men.
The style of groom’s clothing depends upon a lot of factors including time of the day, location of the ceremony and the theme on which the ceremony is being conducted. Generally in Western tradition the groom wears a suit of an appropriate level of formality to the occasion and time of the day. In US, the groom usually wears a dark colored suit (daytime) or tuxedo (evening) during wedding ceremony. A British tradition requires groom, and his close male family members to wear morning suits. In India, a groom can wear kurta pajama, traditional sherwani or Jodhpuri suit on his wedding day. Usually, the designers designs the groom wear to give them an ethnic look to the groom.
Usually the groom’s first preference is to wear tuxedos on the wedding day. The tuxedos are designed depending on the vests, dress style and shirt. It is the duty of the designer to work on every detail of the groom’s dress to make sure that it synchronizes with his look. Groom’s tuxedos are made up of special material. These tuxedos are designed by professional fashion designer. Depending on the personality of groom, his tuxedo can be selected. The size of shirt should be long enough to fit the hand comfortably. The grooms who have thick neck and broad face should avoid using tie in these parties. Using a tie spoils a look of the dress. In modern days, grooms also wear special designer groom dress in order to match bride’s fashion and also to gather the attention of visitors.
The general trend in the groom wear is to adore black color suits on the wedding day. However, nowadays the grooms are experimenting with lot of different colors such as white, gray, green, blue etc. They are designed with utmost care so that groom looks smart on his wedding day. Men can become centre of attraction by wearing the designer groom wear on their very special day.
