Detoxify Your Body And Optimize Your Health

By: Home | Health-and-Fitness

The term detox is commonly used when referring to alcoholism or drug addiction treatment and refers to steps taken to detoxify the body of the harmful chemicals stored as a result of ingesting these type of toxins over a long period of time.

But there are other types of body detoxification systems too. Some that will help you increase metabolism and lose weight, some that will help clear up yeast infections and athlete's foot, and some that will reduce acne and restore your skin.

How Did Toxins Get In My Body?

We are exposed all types of chemicals, air pollution, fat, sugar, additives, preservatives, and other environmental factors, all while we go about our daily lives. These products are not natural to our bodies and so are difficult for the body to ingest, digest, or cleanse itself of, so residual amounts remain in the body, some becoming very toxic.

After years of exposure a significant amount of these toxins build up in your system and can cause health issues and serious illness. Weight gain and feeling tired all the time are two of the most common complaints of individuals in need of a body cleansing. Other common complaints include digestive problems, colon and bowel disorders, chronic pain, joint discomfort and pain, chronic colds, allergies, yeast infections, and athlete's foot, just to name a few.

The good news is that you can cleanse away these toxins and restore you body back to a healthy state. Let's take a look at some of these forms of body cleansing and see how you can detoxify your body and optimize your health.

Candida Cleanse

Yeast overgrowth interferes with the natural body detoxification process and is considered to be a leading contributor in alcoholism, irritable bowel syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivities, crohns, autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, leaky gut syndrome, pms, endometriosis, fibromyalgia syndrome, prostatitis, attention deficit disorder, multiple sclerosis, asthma, food allergies, muscle and joint pain, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, asthma, repeated urinary tract infections, hormonal imbalances, migraines, digestive disturbances, difficult menopause, psoriasis, lupus, chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, Addison's disease and many others.

A good Candida cleanse can help bring the body back into its natural balance restoring the ability to cleanse and detoxify itself and controlling the overgrowth of yeast in the body. The best approach involves a change in diet and a whole body detoxification process.

Colon Cleanse

Your digestive system; the colon, bowel, and intestines all become clogged after years of consuming foods that put a heavy burden on your body such as fatty meats, sugary treats, hydrogenated oils and processed or chemically treated food products.

Without a colon cleansing, the toxins built up in your colon will make your immune system weak leaving you more likely to suffer from bad health, disease, and chronic pain and illness. The body needs to detoxify and the only way to efficiently get the residual waste matter from your bowels is by performing a colon cleanse.

Whole Body Detoxification

Your body has a natural detox system that works through the liver, kidneys and lower gastrointestinal tract. It is important to understand that just as our external body parts and sensory organs help us perform our daily routine work, the internal organs perform many complex functions vital for our survival. Apart from the respiratory system of lungs and the circulatory system of the heart the most basic function of our internal organs is to produce energy by digesting food and taking in the nutrients.

Removing toxins from your body will help restore its natural detox ability and set you on your way to living a healthier lifestyle. I think everyone should consider having a whole body detoxification. And if you do have questions or concerns, ask a Doctor.

As for me...having the toxins removed from my body is as important as my annual checkup and an essential need in maintaining good health and preventing illness.
