2.Having bitter gourd safe to eat in ghee for a period of three months will bring the diabetes down by a major amount.

3.A tablespoon of Indian gooseberry juice mixed with a cup of fresh bitter-gourd juice, taken daily for two months will enable the pancreas to secrete insulin.

4.Drinking a glass of water with 10 tulsi leaves, 10 neem leaves and 10 belpatras early morning on an empty stomach helps in keeping sugar levels under control.

5.Mix and grind seeds of Fenugreek (100 gm), turmeric (50gm), white pepper. Take one teaspoon of this fine particles with a glass of milk twice daily.

Home Remedies for Diabetes

1.Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diets. You can even take one teaspoon of cinnamon daily.

2.Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in 1 cup of water overnight. Drink this water in the morning on an empty belly and eat the seeds.

3.Take a bitter gourd, remove the seeds and saturate in a cup of water. Drain this preparation and drink each morning.

4.Boil around fifteen mango leaves in one cup of water. Keep it over night and filter in the morning. Drink every dawn on an empty stomach.

5.Avoid oily, fried and stiff foodstuffs.

6.Avoid coffee, sugar, sophisticated flour and alcohol.

7.Eat smaller meals (low fat diet) five to six times a day instead of have three large meals.

8.Increase intake of vegetables like spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, sprouts, beans, garlic etc.

9.Refrain from taking stress.

10.Do regular exercise. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day.
