If you want healthy skin, you eat a healthy diet. Healthy skin is an essential part of health and natural beauty. Diet plays an important role in maintaining the health of the skin. Diet should supply all the nutrients needed to build health, namely, protein, carbohydrates, fats, essential fatty acids and all the essential vitamins and minerals. Choose foods with plenty of B vitamins like B-2 and B-3. These foods convert calories into energy for metabolism and are components of enzymes that maintain normal skin function. Vitamin C works by reducing the damage caused by free radicals, a harmful byproduct of sunlight, smoke, and pollution. Fish contains oils that will help nourish your skin. This diet includes fish options at lunch and dinner to add luster and softness to your complexion.

The vitamins of the B group are important in producing beautiful skin. Vitamin E to protect your cells against free radicals. This is a powerful antioxidant that helps slow the aging of skin cells and promote healthy skin. Vitamin E helps promote great skin, which is why this diet includes nuts such as hazelnuts and almonds -- which are high in vitamin E -- as snacks. Foods rich in vitamin E include almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, broccoli, wheat germ, peanuts and vegetable oils. Vitamin A is essential for healthy skin. This diet includes plenty of dark orange (carrots, sweet potatoes, winter squash) and dark green (broccoli, spinach, kale) vegetables -- all of which are high in vitamin A. Zinc is for boosting the immune system and promoting optimum health.

Zinc can be found in eggs, seafood, turkey, pork, whole grains, nuts and mushrooms. This trace mineral helps maintain collagen and elastin fibers that give skin its firmness, helping to prevent sagging and wrinkles. Creams containing B vitamins can give skin an almost instant healthy glow while hydrating cells and increasing overall tone at the same time. Selenium is a mineral antioxidant that will help minimized the damage of ultraviolet lights. Large amount of water, liquids, juices etc must be taken to reduce dryness of the intestine and drain blow out of the blood through urine. Fruit juice such as grapes, lemon, etc. is also recommended. Drink Plenty of Water. Spicy, very hot, oily, fried and highly flavored food must be avoided and thus junk food, fast food from outside must be avoided.

Healthy Skin Diet Tips

1. Vitamin B1 aids skin health by helping to keep the circulation normal.

2. Vitamin B helps to retain moisture, assists in the prevention of skin cancer and has anti-aging abilities.

3. Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine deficiency can result in dermatitis or eczema.

4. Vitamin C works by reducing the damage caused by free radicals.

5. Zinc is for boosting the immune system and promoting optimum health.

6. Selenium is a mineral antioxidant that will help minimized the damage of ultraviolet lights.

7. Drink at least more water 6-8 times a day.

8. No smoking and alcohol. Avoid junk food and fast food.
