It is important to note that you should always get advice from an experienced cruise specialist in order to obtain the best deals for your Disney Cruise. The last thing you want to do is get advice from a friend or family member who don't always want the same things from a cruise vacation as you. 2. Location does matter. For those who may have a problem with seasickness, you will want to be as midship as you can get to feel less movement than other parts of the ship. And the size of your cabin will also play a big part in how much your cruise vacation costs you. Inside cabins with no windows will always be the least expensive alternative. But if you like knowing if it is day or night outside, then you would want at least an ocean view cabin. Sometimes you will find it best to pay for a balcony cabin for your best comfort. These will be at a higher cost in money but if that's what makes you happy and you can still remain within your budget than you should go for it. 3.Magical Rates during off peak times. Yes, you can get a deal on Disney cruises but you must be flexible and not travel when the most popular times to travel are to get the best deals. Of course we are talking about Disney Cruise Line and with that most of you will be taking along the kids. And most kids are in school and tend to get holidays off. Well then my advice to you is, expect to pay top dollar and book as early as possible. But for those of you with little ones and can travel during off peak times such as January, early February, May, late August-October, and even parts of Nov and Dec that aren't holiday weeks and can book your cruise at least 3-6 months in advance can get yourself a good deal on a Disney cruise. 4. An extra added value can be offered as shipboard credits. These can be used while you are enjoying your Disney cruise. At this time, there is a special on 3-4 night sailings of the Disney Wonder that will give you $50 per cabin in credit to be used on the ship. You can use these for souveniers, drinks, purchases etc..hurry though, these offers are subject to availability and must be booked within a given time. 5.Florida resident and military discounts. Be sure to ask your Cruise Agent about this as these discounts aren't always available. 6. Land and Sea packages will allow you to spend part of your vacation on a Disney cruise and the other exploring Disneyworld. While Disney will offer this as a combo deal-it usually works out less expensive when you book your vacations seperately. Your agent can figure it out both ways and offer you the best deals. 7. As a special cost saving tip for families of 5-you have options to save money by booking 2 connecting cabins as opposed to a more expensive Deluxe Family Stateroom. You would not only save money but you would gain a bathroom and more privacy.
