Disney Resort Hotels Vs Disney Holiday Villas

By: Mark Sheldon Home | Travel-and-Leisure | Vacation

So you want to go to Orlando for your holiday?

Great choice! There is so much to do in Orlando it’s usually a case of managing to fit it all in, but there are a few important decisions that you need to make before you commit to your vacation. One of the most important decisions is where to stay.

If you plan to visit the Disney World resorts then it’s very easy to be talked into staying in one of their on site hotels. This is fine for many people or couples but if you are travelling in a large group it can sometimes become a big expense that you don’t necessarily need to spend.

Around the Disney area there are many holiday villas that are privately owned, and the owners let them out to people who are visiting the area on holiday.

A privately owned Villa near Disney will give you increased privacy, your own kitchen, private bedrooms and usually they come with a private pool area.

The option of staying in a holiday villa near Disney means that you can come and go to and from the resort when you feel like it, so if you need to have a time out and relax you can do so within a 10-20 minute drive. Very often, if you stay in one of the Disney Hotels it can be difficult to get away from all the excitement of the resort and you end up on a constant high without being able to relax.

Privately owned holiday villas near Disney are often based within a small community. This means that many amenities such as restaurants, shops and gas stations are readily available should you need them. They often come with small garden areas as well so you enjoy the good weather whilst you relax!

One of the main benefits with a privately owned Villa is that you can set your meal times as you please. As they come with their own kitchen areas you can fit your meals into your day, rather than planning your day around set meal times.
These are just some of the benefits of staying in a privately owned holiday villa near Disney when visiting Orlando.
