Do Gas Prices Affect Your Electric Bill?

By: Kat Williams Home | Home-and-Family | Home-Appliances

Unless you have lived on the moon for a couple of years, you recognize
how expensive gasoline is. The pathetic cost gazes you in the face
every time you fill your cars' tank.

What’s genuinely crazy, however, is that gas is like the first domino
in a cost cascade that is devastating many folks.

Perhaps I should tell you how this "cost cascade works." The facts
will make you mad, but it’s time you knew what's going on so you
can do something different. Luckily, it’s not hard to comprehend.

Begin with gas. Where does it originate from? That’s correct.
It's a by-product of crude oil which comes out of the ground.
It’s a fossil fuel, and there’s a seriously limited supply of it.

Do you know what occurs when the supply of something is depleted,
but everyone needs it? Yep, the monetary value goes through the
roof. Consider tickets to a sold-out concert. You will ante up
a pretty penny for those.

Well, oil acts similiarly... but oil acts like a race car heading a
line of race cars. The lead car pulls along the other race cars
behind it as they â€draft†in the lead cars' wake.

In this example, the other "race cars" are coal and gas.

Most people don't know that a majority of the electricity in the world,
particularly in the U.S., is derived from coal.

Power providers operate coal-fired power stations to fuel their
electricity-generating turbines. As coal rises in cost, electric costs,
including your home electric costs, increase proportionately.
It goes without saying that coal gets more expensive as the price
of oil increases.

Because OPEC controls the price of every barrel of oil, you could
say that OPEC is to blame for your home electric charges!

Our country is basically at the mercy of oil costs, but there
is an end in sight.

The Run Your Home For Free guide is clearly a light at the
end of the tunnel. When you follow the simple steps in
this guide, you won't care about the cost of oil or coal
anymore.

And by your household not running on fossil fuels, you'll be
doing the environment some good.

**********

Here’s what I'm talking about:

* Run Your Home for Free demonstrates how to use wind and
sunlight as generators to power your home. This is serious.
You actually will build your own generators.

*People who don't think of themselves as "handy" are following
the guide and creating generators all over the place.

*As long as you're not some kind of super engineering geek,
you can build the generator for $200 or less.

*Simple step by step instructions can be completed quickly so you
can be cutting your home electric bill by 80 of your entire
monthly electricity bill, beginning next month. (You can do
the math.)
