You will not have to hire an additional person to shred your documents, waste your business and personal time shredding documents, you won't have any maintenance cost or machine costs, no noise or paper dust, and all your paper will be recycled. You also do not need to spend the time removing any folders, paper clips, rubber bands or staples as the employees at the shredding company will take care of this for you. There are many different types of document shredders available all with different features available. Your budget and needs will determine the type of shredder you will obtain. Shredders can shred paper in two different ways. Cross cut shredders cut paper both lengthwise and widthwise and produces paper that looks like confetti. Strip cut shredders simply shred papers lengthwise producing strips. The amount of shredding you need, will determine the machine as different machines can handle varying amounts of work before needing to cool off. You also may need to purchase lubricating oil to make sure paper is threaded throw the machine without getting stuck.
