Does Drinking Water Help You Get Rid Of Man Boobs?

By: Richard Adams Home | Health-and-Fitness

As someone who has successfully lost a considerable amount of weight in the past I was quite surprised recently when someone told me how much water helps you to lose weight.

The reason that I was surprised that that whilst I do drink a considerable amount of water each day, and I have lost weight, I had never really considered water as part of the equation.

But when you think about it there are all sorts of ways in which water will help you lose weight and so get rid of man boobs. Here are just a few for you to consider:

1) You Eat Less

By drinking one or two glasses of water with each meal you will fill up your stomach making you feel fuller with less food. You will feel satisfied yet your calorie count will have dropped considerably making dieting and weight loss far easier and less of a strain.

2) You Don't Drink Other Things

A real killer for weight loss diets can be people eating right but then living on sodas, milk shakes and so on. By forcing yourself to drink considerable volumes of water you will quench your thirst in the most natural, wholesome way possible which should reduce cravings for other less healthy drinks.

3) Your Hunger Reduces

Many dieticians have found that many people misunderstand their body. Many people mix up dehydration with hunger. Because very few people ever actually drink as much water as they should (be honest - do you get 8-10 glasses of pure water per day?!) their body complains regularly about it. Unfortunately most people think this is hunger they are feeling so they eat more. This of course makes the problem worse. By keeping yourelf hydrated you eliminate this problem.

4) Your Body Works Better

Our bodies need so much water to function properly that s dehydrated body may have more difficulties digesting food properly and repairing any damage you may have done to your body. A properly hydrated body should therefore help you to digest your food properly and make your body a more energy-efficient place to be.

5) Drinking Burns Calories

Your body cannot use cold water - it needs to be warmed up to body temperature before use. So if you drink ice cold water each time you will burn extra calories as your body warms up the water for use. 8 to 10 glasses a day adds considerably to your calorie use further increasing your weigth loss results.

So there you have it - drinking water really can help to get rid of man boobs. Don't just drink water in the form of tea, coffee, cola and so on. Throw out those and drink nothing but pure water. Two glasses when you get up, one or two with every meal and a couple before and after exercise. You'll be surprised how much of an effect these simple staps can make toward your goal of getting rid of man boobs.
