Choosing the perfect wedding dress is an incredibly important decision and a daunting one as well. Whether you have decided to have a very formal event and need a formal wedding gown or whether you have chosen to have a very casual event with a simple elegant dress barefoot on the sand, there is always THE perfect wedding dress that you just must find. Here are some tips on how to locate that absolutely perfect bridal gown and know you couldn't have looked more beautiful on your special day. Time for bridal gown inspiration! Before you go hit the bridal shops, take some time to focus on the bigger picture. One great tip is to find a movie with a wedding scene that truly inspires you. Watch movies and videos of celebrity weddings and movie and television weddings until you find one that makes you tear up with joy because it is just how you envision your own fantasy wedding. You may even find a couple different weddings that speak to you. Find photographs of these weddings and print them. Make a mood board with your favorite wedding dresses. For some of you these may be cutting edge design cocktail dresses and for others it may be designer formal wedding gowns. Also make note of the colors that truly speak to you and the overall ambience of the weddings that inspire you. It isn't just about finding the perfect bridal gown but it is also about finding the perfect setting to wear that perfect wedding dress in. You don't want to do an exact copy cat of a celebrity or on screen bridal gown but you can definitely take hints and cues. Some examples of great famous wedding inspirations: 1. The simple, quaint wedding in the movie "Forest Gump". The wedding dress is divine for a summer afternoon casual event. 2.The sweet, feminine look of the wedding in the movie "Sixteen Candles". While parts of the look are a little too true 80's and the wedding is hilarious, there are some great ideas for a fully decked out formal affair. And perhaps you want your wedding to have some humor and the might go all out 80's and have lots of fun with it. 3.Try the classic, stylish and unique look of the wedding apparel in the oldie but goodie movie "It Had to Be You". It is almost impossible to go wrong copying the fashion icon Ginger Rogers! 4.The over-the-top fairytale wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Maybe you can't afford true crown jewels to wear but you can certainly find inspiration to make your wedding a true life fairytale. Who says you can't wear a designer bridal gown?
