While it may seem like a streak of the imagination, yes many people out there today are driving the cars of their dreams free and clear by using several unconventional methods not known to the public. The first place in your search for your discounted dream should your local neighborhood. Many housewives and college students who do not know much about cars are likely to let them go for a cheap price if something is wrong with them, especially transmission problems. These buyers do not know enough or cannot afford to fix the transmission. If you see a neighbor with a car that hasn't moved in a while, ask them whats wrong with it. If the problem seems too bad to fix consult with a local mechanic to price the fix up job then make a low ball offer to take the car off the doomed buyers hands. Your next stop in cheap autos should be the local banks. Every year people rush out without fail and purchase new model cars they know upfront they cannot afford. These people manage to make the payments for a few months but more times than not, their local banks end up taking the car back due to nonpayment of the lease. A great place to find almost brand new cars for good prices are in bank parking lots. Many times banks will place autos for sale in their lots and usually will let them go simply for the balance due on the lease! Another great source for cheap cars is police auctions. Some cars can be had at these auctions for gimmick prices such as starting bids at $6 for an auction starting at 6 o'clock in the morning. The best place to find cheap cars is online. This task can be daunting to some because the world wide web is exactly that. A few starting places are Craigslist and Ebay. You should be leery of any deals too good to be true especially on Craigslist, there are some people out there just trying to scam a quick buck. The best place to search for discounted cars online are membership sites. These sites compile all the information available from all sources online and off, thus saving a lot of time and frustration. These sites charge a small fee to weed out the serious buyers from the bad apples just poking around. A lot of autos are broke to the market first on these paid membership sites because of the membership element which guarantees serious buyers. In the search for cheap cars there are many sources to choose from each with their positives and negatives. If one is willing to spend a little time or money looking, there is no reason why they cannot get the car of their dreams for a dream price.
