If you only use one article and submit it to all of the article directories in your list then all of the links coming back to your site will be from the same article and therefore it will be duplicate content. Everyone who uses your article will have the same article. Meaning there will be no variety in your back links. One way to get around the problem is to rewrite the article for every directory that you submitting to. But if you are like me that is not an option. And I highly recommend NOT using article spinners. They do a good job of preventing duplicate content but you usually end up with incoherent content that nobody will read let alone put on their site. The best way to get the most back links is to write quality articles. Not many articles that no one wants to read This is how I have changed my article submission to get around the Duplicate Content issues. Instead of submitting my article to many directories, I write one article and submit it to one directory that has a high page rank and gets a lot of traffic. The next week, I write another article and submit it to a different directory. I have about 5 directories that I submit to. What this does is it makes the links coming into your website more varied. It would also be unlikely that a webmaster would find your articles on all of the article directories that you have submitted to and therefore you will end up with a lot of back links but they will be of different content from different webmasters. Now some webmasters use Article Directory Submission programs to make the process of articles submission easier and to get as many back links as soon as possible. This practice works well in the short term but could have bad consequences in the long term. It is much better to write one good article and just submit it to one highly ranked Article Directory. Now how do you choose the directories that you should submit to? First make a large list of directories and then within that list look for directories that cater to your business. Don’t try to force your article into a directory that does not have a category specific to your business. If you are using a directory submitter program that is probably what your are doing. I learned this the hard way. Second look at the directories Page Rank and Alexa number. The higher the page rank the better. The lower the Alexa Rank the better. by SEO Agency
