Duke University Is Prominent For Excellent Libraries And Museums

A private research university that was located in Durham, North Carolina in United States, Duke University offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional education to the students enrolled. But the highlight of the university is its extensive chain of libraries and museums in the campus.

Originally the institution was founded by the Methodists and the Quakers in Trinity in 1838. It moved to Durham in 1892 and was renamed as Duke University after the name of the Washington Duke, the father of donor James Buchanan Duke.

Campus of the university spans across 8,610 acres of land in three contiguous campuses and marine lab in Beaufort.
