Easy Way To Lose Weight

You would like to know how to lose weight the easy way. Part of the secret is to work with your mind first and make sure you are committed to losing weight. How can I say that when you are sure you are ready to lose weight? Have you set a target yet? Do you have a compelling reason to lose weight?

Recently a friend was diagnosed with diabetes and has switched from any sweets to all vegetables and has lost more weight than she intended and now needs to find new clothes because the old ones don't fit. She gets to look for a smaller size.

Part of the secret in there is that you will change your eating habits and when you do you will see the easy way to lose weight. That is to lower the carbs you are eating, increase the protein and especially add those vegetables and fruit. Start your day with protein instead of sweets like donuts and rolls.

Before you begin set a goal for yourself, however you want it to get to an easy way to lose weight. It could be to get back to a time when you felt good about your weight. Remember how well you felt and how much energy you had.

Remember how much more energy you had when you were exercising. Get back to an exercise routine, whether it is walking, jogging, running, bowling, aerobics, yoga or anything you like to do that eats up the calories., even making love uses the calories. What a great exercise!

Protein uses more energy for digestion than carbs so eat plenty of protein. Vegetables are low in calories so they are great and can fill you up in very little time. They don't affect your body the way simple sugars and carbs do. So do like your mom told you and eat your vegetables. So many of them are great raw so they are easy to eat and can be cut up and put in the refrigerator for snacking. If you like celery, it takes more calories to digest it than you get when you eat it.

When you start to get upset or anxious, don't reach for the high calorie foods, pop in some relaxing music to the CD player, or if you are a classical music fan, listen to some great and relaxing music there, try Beethoven or Bach.

Listen to a motivational CD or just sit down and remember your goal and why you are doing this. Remember those people around you who want you to be with them a long time. Remember what you want for yourself and the health you will enjoy.

Just keep on and you will find the easy way to lose weight and won't that be a great gift for yourself and those around you.
