As you are building an email marketing campaign you will want to pay particular attention to the content that you are distributing in your emails. Marketing through email gives you a chance to position yourself in front of your prospects and touch base with them on a periodic basis. 1.Deliver Quality

Any time that you contact a prospect through email, if you want them to open your email and read it, make sure that whatever you are sending them is of value to them. You have to send them something that they can use. Otherwise, you will be relegated to the junk mail pile in no time at all.

By offering your prospects valuable information about your field, they will begin to see you as an expert in your niche, and when they do have a question, your name will spring to mind. Make sure that when you receive that question you are very thorough in answering it, because they are in essence interviewing you. If they like what you answer and how you answer, you may have just gained a customer, and if not, they may still be sizing you up.

2.Keep Promises

Any time you make a promise it is important that you keep it. As a business owner, you are marketing your brand as well as your product. You want the customer to be comfortable dealing with you and your company, and that is what your brand represents. So make sure that your email reflects your brand.

When you promise to send information to a prospect send information. If a prospect signs up for a newsletter, then deliver a newsletter. If instead you simply bury them in sales material, you are breaking a potential customer's trust, and they will very likely never do business with you in the future. So if you make a promise, the honor it.

3.Professional Appearance

When you are sending any communication to the public, make sure that you proofread it. Sending out an email or newsletter with errors or misspellings on it is unforgivable; and worse, it makes your company look unprofessional. If you want to be taken seriously, then you need to put your best professional foot forward. So check all outgoing correspondence for errors.

4.Tailor Content

Remember that the point of your email marketing campaign is to make friends with your future customers. With each contact, you are becoming more familiar, so when you write to them, make sure that you speak in a language that they are comfortable with. If your industry has a short hand language or uses a lot of buzzwords do not use them in your emails. Speak in plain English that your prospects will understand and feel comfortable with.

Whenever you are building the trust of your prospects, try to have your material appear custom made. Even if you use a template to create your letter or newsletter, make sure that you tailor it enough to make it your own. If your email or newsletter looks like a template, then you will instantly lose credibility with your prospect.

If you are diligent about staying in contact with your potential clients through your email marketing campaign, you have the opportunity to build their trust and create good, loyal customers. So follow these tips to build the trust of your prospects and earn their business.
