Docuter is a place where you can upload, publish, store and share documents. Docuter powered by AJAX Document Viewer technology and allows you to interact with others easily through a web based online reader application. You can embed the documents on to your corporate website, blog, e-zine, etc. Your documents can be shared with Docuter community or your own friends and can be emailed to anyone you want. You can upload any kind of documents and Docuter supports more than 200 document types. Docuter embed documents like word, PDF, spreadsheets or graphics into the web page with a small code and anyone can see it then. It also let’s you create a document library that you maintain and control. Docuter can be used by business users, students, professors or anyone who wants to present information to their users. The supported documents include both Microsoft Office and Open Office files, along with documents created using Auto Cad and images such as .JPG, .GIF and .BMP. For its part, PDFs are also duly supported. As regards file size or page size there are no limitations at play, although you must understand that the bigger your file is then the longer it will take for it to be visualized. There are also no limits to the number of documents that you can upload, but you must comply with the aim of the site and make sure they will be interesting for others to see. From a technical standpoint, Docuter is powered by AJAX Document Viewer, and in order to run it flash and java scripts need to be enabled. The system is also quite customizable, but not directly from the Docuter webpage - you must set up and install AJAX Document Viewer on your server. Still, the site is more than practical as it stands by default, and if you decide to give it a try you will find it quite a useful resource for sharing data and information. How to embed documents in webpage or website or blog using Docuter 1. Sign up for an account at the Docuter Home page (docuter.com). If you already have an account, simply log into your account. Click on the “Upload” button at the top of the page. 2. Next, click on the button labelled “Click to Select Files” and browse your file which you want to upload. 3. Click on “Upload Files” button to upload the file. You will see the upload progress and then conversion status. 4. You will then see a Describe Document window, where fill in the document details and enter the folder if any where you might want to save the document. Click on “Save” button. You can also skip this step by clicking on “Skip” button. You will now see your document under “All Documents”. The document is already published now. 5. Click on Document to go to the document page. Click on the Embed button to get the “Embed Codes”. Here you will see an Embed Code, which you can use to put document on your blog or website and a link code which you can use to link to the document from anywhere. Copy the Embed code. 6. Log into your blog site, and Open the post you want to embed the Docuter Document into, or create a new post. Click the tab to switch to HTML mode. Press “Control + V,” which will paste the code into your blog. (For Macs, press Command + V). Click on Save or Publish and your document is embedded into your blog. We can do document sharing, document upload, document viewing and even send files to mail to my friends manage by select public or private. We can use it as a hyper link or files and images of any format in my document can be used in any web sites by giving a simple hyper link.
