If you really want to succeed in learning guitar,you need to follow certain rules.Perhaps every guitarists has his own rules,but only a few can really take the benefit of the time utilized.The key to learn any instrument is more and more practice.Only practicing can give you good results nothing else.Here are the few ways by which you can get the best out of what you put in. Decide how you are going to learn and stick to it. If you are having some book on guitar learning lessons then do follow it exactly as it is. If you are following up any lessons for guitar learning,then do follow them strictly. When you have decided to learn guitar,just follow the instructions very clearly and do exactly as stated by your tutor or the book which you are following. Place yourself a goal in each session.If the session doesn't give you a goal,then set your own. Make yourself learn at least two or three new chords each session,and have them done by the next session. It really doesn't matters what your goal or target is?The thing which matters is that to set one challenge and meet it. Take some breaks also in between,when you think you need one.Don't try to kill yourself by just practicing or learning guitar,give it a plenty of time. You need to take some refreshments and some fresh air in between your rehearsals,otherwise you'll definitely kill yourself by only practicing guitar. If you have a companion who is also practicing guitar,get together twice a week or so and practice together. This thing will provide you both with a break in between your normal sessions,and it is important also,otherwise you'll be bored with your practice sessions. At the final stage just enjoy yourself.Take out time away from your practices and play your own tunes.There is no point learning a guitar,when you cannot enjoy it. Pick up the guitar often and try to enjoy playing your own tunes,there is no hard and fast rule that you can't enjoy while learning.
