By: JessicaThomson Home | Recreation-and-Sports

When you don’t find time to shake off those flab and fats, recumbent exercise bike are just for you. These exercise bikes, available in market, are in rage with easily affordable prices. These bikes are especially made in keeping the structure and functions in mind that resemble the bikes you ride in gyms. With their same features, exercise bike is thriving in market and you can easily bring them home.

Best exercise bike for you

Since bikes are broadly categorized in two forms- upright and recumbent exercise bike, you can opt for the best that suits you to the ground. But to choosing a bike is also very crucial decision unless you are not aware of the side effects of a wrong one. Here are few things that would guide you further:

Upright exercise bikes- These bikes are available in their traditional look of backless bikes. This backless feature sometimes results in giving bad posture. Therefore many body aches and problem has been noticed while riding on these . You may also sometimes feel pain on your rear end and can also experience some numbness after having a session of 20-30 minutes. These problems have been considered as a result of bad posture of back and hand while exercising. Although the effect tends to subside after time but it can be really nagging for those who exercise for the first time.
But one upside of such bikes is that if you know the perfect posture and maintain your body that way, you can easily tone- up yourself quickly as compare to recumbent exercise bikes. As you sit with your back straight without any aid, you are subject to lose flab of your abdomen while paddling the bike. Besides, the perfect posture also helps you to get into that same position that you can maintain even while sitting in your office chair for long hours.

Recumbent exercise bikes- These bikes are the luxurious version of upright bikes. They come with wide and paddy seats. And most of them come with attached comfortable backs. As compared to upright bikes, they are much lower to the ground. While exercising on a recumbent exercise bike, you may feel your feet paddles are fixed much forward. Unlike upright bikes, you can recline and paddle your feet in front position. Your working of foot is straight in your front in recumbent but it is direct under your body line when you exercise on upright bikes.
It is best suited for middle aged or fat people since they cannot work out in upright bikes at a stretch. Their heavy body doesn’t allow them to sit on such bikes for longer time. It also causes numbness to them even after paddling for a shorter time. Recumbent exercise bike is thus considered to be the best exercise bike for them.

Market is always flooded with numerous exercising equipments. But your body is the sole determiner to choose what exercising equipment suits you. It is always recommendable to opt for equipment which helps your body to improve and not result in its damage.
