The Polynesian cultural is an ancient culture which was based on nature based worship. They have lived in harmony with nature for thousands of years, and their traditional dance was based on respecting the laws of nature. Being in balance with the world is one of the most important factors that have given the natives of Polynesia the amazing traditions they have had for thousands of years. In modern times, dance of Polynesian is directed towards more of entertainment purposes rather than towards god. Their traditional dance used to be based upon the stories of Gods and Goddesses, and they have been making proper efforts to keep their original Polynesian cultural alive for the future generations to come. They consider their traditions very important in preserving the old way of life, which is how it was meant to be. There were many different version of dance that were done before going to war, which is used by the teams of New Zealand Rugby teams before their performance. This ancient dance form has become world famous and many people around the world have enjoyed its beauty that is communicated through body language. People used to communicate history, traditions and all the intricate feelings that the human heart librates when they want to show love for the other. This ancient art form has also been used to share the knowledge of the creation of the universe, poetry and stories to teach people in both visual and audible way that is pleasing to the soul. Women play an integral part in this ancient tradition, who takes the lead role when it comes down to the beautiful presentation of traditions. The most popular version of this dance form is Hula which is known for its grace, love, romance and the colorful costumes makes the women as beautiful as angels from heaven. Dance is one of the biggest aspects of Hawaiian culture since their beginning, which may even date back to the times when they had not even arrived here. The Hula Dance has been handed down for generations which have delivered the ancient messages of the ancestors who have watched over the people of this island for thousands of years. Its native culture has now changed a lot with modern times, and there are many islands that have claimed to have originated this beautiful art. Dance is a form of body language which conveys the thoughts, feelings and the delicate emotions of a lady that she feels for the people she loves. Nature plays the key role in the traditions of Polynesian cultural and their dance form flows full of natural life. All of the costumes are made from natural items like leaves and flowers which look amazing with the flow of the dancer’s bodies. Through this amazing art, they are able to communicate their thoughts, feelings and the love they hold for the world they live within. The costumes are generally designed by hand by women themselves, which shows their level of skill and their own love of nature. They have appreciated everything that God has given them, and they never forget that people have to live in harmony with nature for a prosperous life.
