If you're tired of wearing glasses... if you are tired of having to put on contacts every morning and taking it out every night... if you find lasik surgery too costly and riddled with side effects, then listen up. Here in this article, I'll show you eye vision exercises you can do NOW to better your eyesight, without glasses, contacts or lasik. If that sounds like something you're looking for, then read on. Unlike what you may have been taught, it's possible to rebuild your vision. However, contrary to what most sales letters may tell you, the process is not always swift though some do experience improvement relatively quick. It will require some commitment but unfortunately, the most common reason why people fail in my experience is because they could not stick to the plan. Generally speaking, for every year you've worn glasses, it will take about a month to improve your eyesight. So if you've worn glasses for 15 years, you should look forward to 15 months of eye exercises. When I first started, I've worn glasses for a whole 14 years but it took me 8 months to go from a -5.00 spectacles to live my life relative glasses-free. It is crucial that you realize your vision did not become what it is now over the course of a few days. It took months, probably years of abuse so you shouldn't expect the solution to be unreasonably fast either. In fact, any "instant solutions" such as surgery should only be considered if you have no other choice and require it urgently! Having said that, let's start with a basic eye vision exercise you can practice. The eye vision exercise I want to introduce you to is called palming. What it does is it relaxes your eye muscles. Unlike what most "vision gurus" claim it to be, your eye muscles are not "weak" - they are tensed. Frequent habits of staring, leering and refusal to rest are just some of the factors that causes chronic tension. To palm, simply position your palms (thus the name) on your closed eyes to block out all light. Then simply visualize a relaxing scenery. It can be anything from a bed of flowers to a range of mountain - as long as it loosens you up, which is, naturally, the objective of this vision exercise. I know palming sounds easy, but trust me, it's not. Many of us have not imagined anything in such a long time that we have lost the ability to visualize. My only advice if you're one of this people is to practice. Allocate 10 minutes, 2 - 3 times a day and do it religiously. If you try to palm for an hour straight in your first try, you'll probably give up in day 3 because you'll not see results. It takes weeks or even months, so take it slow.
