Now you want to be sitting in an upright position to begin with. Next put your hands firmly on your neck as if you are going to choke yourself (but not really of course!) and your hands should be in the "X" cross position. Now, keeping your hands firmly planted into your neck like that, continue by pressing and then looking up towards the ceiling until your feeling your neck stretching and then hold it in that really tight position for about 30 to 45 seconds. Continue doing this for about 10-15 times each and everyday. Start by sitting in an upright position. Firmly grab your neck as if you were trying to choke yourself. Your hands must be crossing each other in an X. Keep your hands firmly in position. While you continue pressing your neck, look up towards the ceiling. Stretch your neck and hold it tightly for 30-45 seconds. Repeat this for 10-15 times everyday. Facial exercises prevent the formation of those pesky wrinkles that are caused by the repetition of some facial expressions. Flabby cheeks may be reduced; fill hollow cheeks and jowls can be normalized with appropriate facial exercises. If we take proper care, the face can be very pleasant. Contribute to sustained movements to tone and firm the muscles of the face and neck, they need the benefits of gymnastics as part of the body. There have been numerous studies that support this theory. One was conducted by the founder of a highly reputable physical therapy center. The study produced some concrete evidence. A group of people did regular facial exercises for an eight week period. Every person showed an incredible 250 percent improvement in muscle strength and a 35 percent increase in elasticity. Most medical practitioners have been leery to recommend facial exercise to their clients because many programs consist of twists, puckers, contortions and movements of the face that are mostly laughable. Everyone would indeed be right to avoid those unlikely expressions because repetitive movements can accentuate existing lines and wrinkles. Repeated contortions might even create lines and wrinkles. It is principally a skin problem which loses its attachments to the underlying muscle and bone. These ligaments, known as osteocutaneous ligaments and musculocutaneous ligaments, are what actually weakens through near continual facial movement and gravity. The facial muscles cannot prevent this problem, no matter how 'tight' one tries to make them. In fact, exercising (making extreme facial expressions) is likely to increase facial aging by making skin wrinkles worse through excessive and exaggerated movements. Commonly used by celebrities, television and entertainment personalities and male models, these types of exercises have a proven track record with results. Results with face exercises can often mean a more chiseled jawline, refreshed eyes, more defined cheekbones, an enhanced, more sculpted chin and so much more! Sit upright and tilt your head looking to the ceiling while keeping your lips together but relaxed. Next move your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep for a count of five. Return head to normal position and repeat exercise 10 times.
