Facts Between Plasma And Lcd Tv

By: Billievi Home | Shopping-and-Products

Today choosing which television to buy could be a quite complex thing to do. Usually we would think about the budget & the size, and then we have to choose between LCD TV, Plasma or Projectors, with hundreds of brands and models for each.

To generate pictures, LCD and plasma TVs have a completely different method and materials. LCD uses crystal cells which will unwind and tighten properly when an electrical power applied. A strong backlight suffuses the cells so that as they change they separate out each and every colour within the range except the primary one. Plasma screens contain a large amount of pixels which, whenever turned on, launch gases that actually work to generate a particular colour in the red, blue and also green bands included inside the pixels.

Plasma panels used to be considered better than LCD in assortment of angles. That’s due to the winding and unwinding of cells in LCD TVs the fast moving pictures like action movies or sporting events often show a trailing effect. Since every pixel is activated individually, plasma screens don’t have this issue.

But with the progress in today’s technology, LCD TV has shown magnificent improvements that could match plasma screens and even more. Now, it has the technology that would make all fast moving pictures stay clear and sharp also comfortable to be viewed from all possible angles. LCD televisions now have the screen size that match the largest plasmas, on the other hand they could also be produced in tiny sizes which suitable for phones. Don’t forget about it’s portability, unlike the thick and heavy plasmas, LCD TVs are more easily to be moved and won’t use up too much space in your house.

Since plasma TVs use gas, air pressure also affected its performance, and they won’t do a good performance at high altitudes. LCD televisions are not affected by an altitude, that’s why you will only see LCD TVs in a flight. Plasma TVs also often experience screen burn, this happens when there is a still image left on screen for a certain period like when you pause a video game and left it that way for an extensive period, or when you use it to broadcast images from computer.

Nowadays LCD has started to dominate the television market, as it has more reasonable price, and usually equipped with so many supported connectivity and technology.

Sony KDL-32EX403 and Sony KDL-32EX503 are two samples of modern standard LCD TVs. Those televisions have all the great features that you can expect from a modern smart-TV. Some of the features are built-in ambient sensor, built-in Freeview HD tuner, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, USB wireless dongle, 4 HDMI inputs, WiFi connectivity, and DLNA features, moreover, these 32 inch televisions have sleek design and reasonable prices too.
