Online dating is a very popular activity on the Web. Online dating is a great chance to meet new people, make new friends or even find your dream partner. All this sounds too good to be true. Unfortunately, online dating has some ugly aspects as well. Scams are common in online dating, no matter if this appeals to you or not. Such that the person on the other end is left feeling sorry and the poor unsuspecting soul is ready to assist such people, with no idea of the real reasons. One of the ways to avoid becoming a scam victim is NEVER to give money on the Web. Also, do not disclose private data, such as your credit card number or bank account. Sure, you have read about these safety precautions many times but still people blindly trust scammers on the Net and it is hardly surprising that scammers reap a lot of cash. You should never forget that the Internet is not a safe place and because of that you must take care of yourself.
