Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but no cheating, brunch does not count. Most importantly, breakfast is consumed in the mornings, which could mean a huge †but healthy †lifestyle change for some.

Drink lots and lots of water

Doctors used to require a minimum of eight glasses of water a day, but lately, due to the increased presence of unhealthy foods in the market and the proliferation of unhealthy eating habits, many experts are advising people to drink at least 10 to 11 glasses of water each day. If you can drink more, the better.

Drinking water helps in cleansing your body of toxins and reduces the amount and severity of hunger pangs you may be feeling at any time of the day. Sometimes, the body’s thirst for water is also mistaken as hunger pangs, which is why it’s better to try drinking more water first instead of consuming more food. Also, room temperature water forces your body to burn calories to raise the temperature to 98 degrees.

Eat lots and lots of eggs

Certainly, this is not one of those fat loss tips you usually hear, though, rest assured that it’s true. Contrary to the urban myths, you may have heard about, eggs won’t harm your health by increasing cholesterol levels. It’s actually rated as one of the healthiest and best sources for protein.

The great thing about eggs is that they can be cooked in so many ways and create a wide variety of dishes, consequently, ensuring that your healthy diet plans need not be monotonous or bland in any way.

Increase intake of greens and fruits

As the old saying goes, parents know best, so when your mom told you to eat your veggies, she knew what she was doing. Fruits and vegetables are rich in nutrients and have high water contents. This makes them great not just for fat burning but also for giving you an energy boost and making your skin healthy and supple.

Lastly, besides these great fat loss tips, you should also take the time to consult a nutritionist to know the exact amount of calories you can take each day to either maintain your weight as it is or lose weight while keeping to a healthy diet.
