Find The Benefits Of Plasma Televisions

By: Hammonds Web Marketing Home | Arts-and-Entertainment

Rear and front projection televisions all typically fall short in a common area: uneven screen brightness which is seen as a darkening near the corners of the image or "hot spots" in the middle. But thank goodness that Plasma displays have this problem solved! By evenly illuminating all pixels across the screen, the Plasma televisions are able to achieve uniform screen brightness which adds to their smooth appearance and a more realistic picture.

Plasma display monitors have perfectly flat screens. This is quite a unique feature because with no curvature whatsoever, it eliminates the distortion that can occur in other monitor types around the edges. Have a very flat screen also allows the wide viewing angles which have come to be a known Plasma trademark. The plasma display is glass-encased and is most usually protected by a layer Plexi-glass. Now, it should be noted that some of the higher quality plasma Televisions also use anti-glare coatings and/or specific color filter in order to enhance the picture quality even more of the flat screen.

Plasma display monitors are famous for one feature that we cannot go on without mentioning - their extremely slim, space-saving design. These new Plasmas are only a few inches in depth, which provides installation possibilities never before imagined for a high definition television! Specific dimensions of the depths are around 3.5 inches on 42" displays and 4" for 50" monitors. Not only available for the standard "table stand" mounting options, Plasmas can now be mounted right on a wall or hung from a ceiling. These new options allow full enjoyment of your big-screen in the most convenient place without interfering with floor space in your room. Plasma displays are made with a bezel that is nearly actual display screen. This is a great feature since it can slim the monitors down and give them a implied "picture frame" effect which can flow easily with any dcor. Since they have eliminated the necessity for a front projection units as well as the projection screen, plasma televisions are perfectly suited for a variety of commercial and business applications where before the use of a large monitor would not have been possible.
