Pure water products are available everywhere today-stores, online, service stations. People are demanding faster better and less expensive ways to provide themselves with fresh clean pure water. The question is with all the desperate technology out there--which is the best? It is an important question. Especially with the continued degradation of water quality world wide. The technology that claims to provide pure water is varied. You have: reverse osmosis 2 stage carbon filtration systems sand filters ceramic filters chemical purifiers Every one of these technologies is vying for your consumer dollar Now we have to ask this question: What is the most common toxin found in tap water? Chlorine, which is added to tap water to do a very effective job killing bacteria and viruses. chlorine is necessary to protect us from some awful diseases. But chlorine is toxic and should be removed before we drink the water. The very best pure water products will not allow chlorine or any other toxin to remain in the water. So what technology do we need -- to remove toxins from our drinking water? Let's examine the choices. We could drink strictly bottled water -- that's supposed to be pure. The regulations for bottle water are ridiculous -- it just has to meet tap water standards to be sold. This means anyone can provide bottled water as long as it's as good as the water that comes from your tap. In many cases it is tap water simply put into a bottle. That doesn't appear to be the best choice. Of all the pure water products--it's the two stage carbon filter that removes chlorine. Reverse osmosis does not. As with all products there numerous choices of 2-stage carbon filtration systems on the market today. The most popular and best selling is the Brita TM - counter top pitcher system -- which will remove close to 70% of the chlorine from tap water. Give that some consideration for just a moment! 70% of a toxin is removed. Is that good enough in your mind? I know it's not in mine. You want ALL the toxin removed. But, because claims for water filtration systems are so stringently regulated, (unlike bottled water) not a single manufacturer in the world can claim 100% effectiveness. Oh no! So there is nothing! Don't panic! There are systems that will reduce toxins (including chlorine) in tap water to undetectable levels.
