Five Tips For Training Bird Dogs

There are numerous ways to train the bird dogs. Bird dogs are generally used by the hunters to hunt the birds. They are specially trained to hunt birds under the guidance. They follow each and every instructions of the hunter carefully. Fully trained bird dogs are very capable and complete their work with respect. Training given to bird dogs is special and can be only given by a qualified trainer.

As stated above that there are numerous tips for training bird dogs, one of the tips is to find a qualified breeder or trainer. Trainers are well experienced in training dogs so they can easily train the bird dogs well. But approach a trainer who is well experienced in training bird dogs; otherwise there are chances that bird dogs can go on wrong tracks. If you think that you do not have money to hire a trainer then you can yourself give training to the bird dogs. Though it will take some time but you will be train the bird dog gradually.

Numerous bird dogs training books are available in the market. So you can choose one of the suitable one to train your bird dog. Another way to train the bird dog is to teach them commands.

There are certain commands that are common to all the bird dogs while training them. Some of the common commands are \'Whoa\', \'come\' and \'heel\'. These are the basics commands that a bird dog should learn and also some of the common principle of act that a bird dog should follow strictly. The word Whoa means to stop. As soon as the hunter will shout Whoa, the bird dog will immediately stop without any movement till the time he gets another command. Likewise the commands like Come and heel should be followed by the bird dog.

Obedience training is another tip that should be followed by a bird dog. If a bird dog is not obedient and does not listen to his master\'s command then there is no use of such bird dogs. Bird dog is a special breed to hunt bird so they should listen to their master\'s command carefully and should act accordingly. Bird dogs should be obedient enough and should follow the commands ordered by the hunter. So, these are some of the tips for training bird dogs. If followed carefully then your bird dog can really be a good hunter dog.
