A number of interesting places invites flights to New York each year. It is densely populated and is located on the coast of Atlantic Ocean. The metropolitan is linguistically and culturally diverse. The city experiences a subtropical humid climate with hot summers and windy winters. It hosts the US Open grand slam of tennis and homes two major airports namely John F. Statue of Liberty The statue of liberty is a neoclassical sculpture situated on the Liberty Island and was designed by Frederic Bartholdi. It was a gift from the French people to the US, which represents Libertas- goddess of freedom. She bears a torch and a tablet. Entrance is free to the statue of liberty. The only expense is for the ferry services. People wishing to go up the staircase within the statue need to purchase an additional ticket. A maximum of 240 people are allowed to enter the statue in a day. Only medicines and cameras are permitted inside the statue. This historical monument with its beautiful inscriptions attracts many New York flights annually. Central Park The central park is situated in the centre of Manhattan and was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. It is a great tourist attraction and hence attracts many cheap flights to New York every year. Wide walking tracks, ice- skating rinks, central park zoo and a wildlife sanctuary flanks it. A number of activities are practiced in this beautiful place, some of them being birding, boating, carriage horses, and Pedi cabs. The central park permits sports and recreational activities like rock climbing, ice skating, etc. It inhabits a wide variety of flora and fauna, which includes American elms, Japanese maple, red-tailed hawk, centipedes, raccoons, and many more. New York Aquarium The New York aquarium is a necessary visited place in the metropolitan and its complex biodiversity invites several flights to New York. Large varieties of sharks prevail in the destination like reef shark, sand tiger shark and nurse shark. It is also a home to stingrays, seals, penguins and sea turtles. Some of the mammals residing in the location are sea otters, Californian sea lions and pacific walrus. The black-footed penguin is a common resident of the New York Aquarium. Lincoln Centre The Lincoln Centre is a home to several influential arts some of them being Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, Juilliard School, and many more. It encloses few performance facilities like the Allen room, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Rose Theatre, and the Irene Diamond Education Centre, which are used for rehearsals and recordings. One must book early tickets for New York flights if one wishes to experience and enjoy the thrills and travails of the magnificent Lincoln Centre.
