For those who are not familiar with the genre, flying games online are multimedia flash applications which put the user in the pilot seat of an aircraft and gives them a chance to become a virtual pilot. The supplied controls for the plane attempt to resemble those of a real aircraft. The user must press the left arrow key to pull up his rear flaps and achieve altitude. The opposite must be done to pull down by pressing the right arrow key. The up and down arrow keys will throttle up or down in the corresponding order, while the comma and the period keys on your keyboard will activate your weapons. As this online flying game begins, you must accelerate and take off in order to engage your enemy in battle. Some skill will be required by the player to maneuver the plane successfully and avoid getting hit. The use of controls will feel quite familiar to anyone who has ever flown a scale plane. The player will need to work on a strategy in order to attack his enemy and defeat him. It will take some time and practice in order to dominate the airplane and maneuver yourself around the enemy plane. Steep dives and sudden turns will easily crash the aircraft. An energy bar displayed at the bottom of the screen will let the player know who's winning, and how much energy is left in you before your airplane is defeated. Once you are shot down, your plane will be destroyed and the pilot will be ejected with a parachute. At the end of each game the player will be offered a chance to submit his score, or return to the main menu where he may begin his adventure all over again. One very nice feature in this game is the ability to play single, or two player game. This will give online flying game fans a chance to play against each other. It also provides for a great activity that can be shared with friends and family. Among the game options, there is also the possibility to turn the music off, and to view the list of high scores submitted by other players.
