I don’t know about you, but, I do know that sometimes I think I am going crazy with the constant information/product overload! And the same offers by so many â€gurusâ€! Who to choose? What to do? Where to go? One more workshop? One more infomercial? One more whiz bang product? As a coach and/or accountability partner, it is sometimes my task to apply that tug back on the rope when you start drifting. You continue to be distracted by that next shiny new thing that promises to be the answer to all of your challenges! There is way too much of that out there today! Distractions, promises and more education will keep you spinning in a circle! If all you do is collect more data and tools and do not implement, failure is what you will face! Do I sound passionate? I sure hope so! The truth is that you most likely know what you need to know and have what you need to have in order to get the job done! What is typically missing is the FOCUS! Why are we so attracted to the â€shiny new pennyâ€? What is your success vehicle? Who have you chosen to model that is an expert? Who provides support for you to get good results? Success does not typically come overnight! It takes time. It takes work. It takes, dare I say it, patience. If you are willing to do the work, follow the model, and take direction from your chosen expert, the reward can be great and long lasting. You must set the right attitude. Without the right attitude, no matter how much you learn and do, you will find a way to sabotage your results! Be committed to your chosen vehicle, model and support long enough to give it a fair chance for success! OKâ€â€I suppose I should get off of my soapbox now! Do you have a support system?
