Food And Drink Recipes Recipes For A Night Of Poker

By: Jim Brown Home |

There are some fun recipes for a night of Poker that will spice up the entire night for many people. Some people might be entranced to find a traditional pot of chili on the stove, but the assortment of add-in will amaze some of the Poker guests. Many homes will use a caddy to display their add-ons and for a night of Poker this is a highly endorsed concept.

Many people expect chili to be offered with side attractions such as shredded cheese, and crackers. They might not realize how much fun jalapenos would be if they were ground up in the chili bowl and left to sit a few minutes. Some Poker like their food very spicy and will certainly be sure to use the shaker of hot chili peppers very liberally on the bowl of chili that sits before them.

The caddy could contain black olives and some refried beans, as well as some flour tortilla. This way guests can create their own recipes for everything from burritos to personal pizzas. The recipes for a night of Poker will most often be followed by a generous offering of canned beer or margaritas that can be blended up and served throughout the night with bananas, strawberries, or from a gallon jug of margarita mix. The recipes for a night of Poker can be as simple as bags of chips and dip.

Poker players are not picky eaters when it comes to eating on their favorite night of the week. They typically enjoy any type of finger food. The finger food that will fit the family budget best could be miniature sandwiches or submarines that feature a miniature sized roll. Cold cuts make great recipes for a night of Poker because they allow money to stay in the pocket of host and that gives him more money to bet on each hand. A party tray could be made from submarines cut at a slant and arranged near the Poker table for easy access.

Many of the recipes for a night of Poker are simple and can be prepared in a matter of minutes. Other favorites for Poker players are nachos. Every Poker player can access a revolving tray that is placed near the Poker table. Small paper dinner plates that have divided serving areas are perfect to keep the hot cheese from dripping onto the table and floor. The nachos can be topped with any of the food items that were placed on the kitchen counter for use on the pot of chili that simmered overnight in a crock pot.
