By: Alfred Parteick Home | Health-and-Fitness | Nutrition

Vitamin C †protects sperm from oxidative damage and prevents sperm sticking together †called sperm agglutination. In one study, men who suffered agglutination took a supplement of 200-1000 mg per day, which increased their fertility.

Vitamin C is abundant in citrus fruit and berries. Orange and dark green vegetables such as pumpkins, carrots broccoli and kale are great sources of Beta Carotene. Vitamin E is found in nuts such as walnuts and almonds, and vegetable oils such as sunflower and safflower.

Diet can have an impact on your sperm as well. Try eating lots of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains. In today's society, we tend to eat a lot of processed foods loaded with additives and little nutrition. Become label conscious and try to eat a more balanced diet. Healthy fats can help with sperm production. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in salmon, eggs, flax and avocados.

Eating healthy, exercising, and reducing stress are just a few things that you can do to help boost your fertility and semen production. By taking a multi-vitamin you can ensure your body is getting the daily requirement of nutrients and minerals. Many men also like to add a male supplement that is specifically designed to increase semen production.

Speman is a completely herbal ayurvedic formulation proven to promote spermatogenesis by improving the testicular, seminal vesicle and epididymal functions. Speman improves the sperm count and the quality of semen by increasing the LH-FSH producing basophil cells in the pituitary

Antioxidants including Vitamin C, Beta Carotene and Vitamin E are essential to improving sperm count. They are powerful antioxidants and protect the sperm from oxidative damage and contribute towards increased concentration and sperm motility.

Reduce your intake of alcohol and cut back on smoking. Alcohol can impact on your liver function which can then reduce your ability to produce high amount of semen. Smoking cigarettes and marijuana also negatively affects how much you produce.

EPO helps the body to produce more fertile quality cervical fluid also known as "egg white cervical mucus." This is because fertile cervical fluid is thin, watery, clear and "stretchy" which can easily aids the sperm to swim through the uterus, into the fallopian tube, and then to the egg.

EPO should only be taken from menstruation to ovulation. Quit smoking both cigarettes and marijuana and you'll not only notice an improvement in semen production but you'll be healthier too. A light and regular exercise is a great way to reduce stress level of your body. But you have to be careful not to have too much exercise, especially exercise that can give a heavy impact to your testicles such as a bicycle race.

Also, eating a diet including the whole and unprocessed foods to increase sperm count is very beneficial and hence advised by sexologists. The best foods to increase sperm count and also to achieve the best health include whole grains, legumes, vegetables, fresh fruit juice, dry fruits, nuts, and seeds.
