A hand towels is something that most of us possess. Even if we do not carry one with us all the time, we are sure to use one every now and then. A towel is basically a piece of fabric that can absorb moisture through direct contact. It can also be a piece of paper. It basically absorbs moisture when it is rubbed against the surface. A hand towel, as the name suggests is a towel that one can carry in the hand. People can take it out with them wherever they go and can use it to clean or wipe themselves. A hand towel is usually a little bigger than a handkerchief but not as big as a bath towel or a beach towel. As already mentioned it can be carried on hand and hence is on the smaller side. It is not uncommon to see people carry hand towels especially when the weather is very sunny or when they have a cold. And some people prefer to carry a hand towel to a handkerchief as it is slightly bigger in size. But it can tend to be a bit on the bulgy side so it might look odd to carry it in one's pocket. There are many companies that produce hand towels. One of the main characteristic of a guest hand towel or any towel for that matter is that it should be made of a very soft material. It should not hurt one's skin when they rub it against their skin. Also, the material in which the towel is made should be highly moisture absorbent. This is very important as most people carry a towel just to wipe off their sweat or to remove water. Unless a towel can absorb the moisture well, the whole point of using one will be lost. Hand towels are used by people not only to carry around but also in toilets or near wash basins. It is more common to find these towels near washbasins as people will need it to wipe their hands dry after washing their hands. One can find that these hand towels come out in several designs. Though many people just prefer to use plain towels, it is not difficult to find towels that have different prints on them. And the softer your towel is, the better you will feel. So go for those ultra soft towels!
