Battle Over Berlin 2 is a free online flying game that is created as sequel to the Battle Over Berlin 1. The mission of the player in this game is to defeat all the enemy aircrafts. Battle Over Berlin 2 has a background music. The background music can be turned off by clicking on the music icon. The music icon can be found on the top right corner of the screen. Battle Over Berlin 2 is controlled by the directional keypad on the keyboard. To accelerate the aircraft, you must press the up arrow key. Pressing the left arrow key will pull up the aircraft. Pressing the right arrow key will pull down the aircraft. The fire the machine gun, you have to press the space key. To drop the bomb, you must press the X key. It is quite difficult to control the movement of the aircraft. The aircraft will turn back to the opposite direction when it reach the end of the border. During the course of this online flying game, several parachutes will drop down from the sky. The parachutes hold the bonuses. The bonuses can give you extra score, life or bombs. The parachute that holds a box with a plus sign will give you 2500 bonus score. The parachute that holds a box with a heart symbol can give you a bonus life. The parachute that holds a box with a diagonal cross can give you 9 bonus bombs. To get the bonus, you must steer the aircraft towards it. You will get the bonus when your aircraft touch the parachutes. It is advised to grab as many bonuses as possible. The bonuses will help you to become more powerful in the game. Collecting the life bonus parachutes will lengthen your life span so that you won't die easily. This free online flying game is not without its challenges. There are several enemy aircrafts that fly around in the sky. The enemy aircraft will shoot the missiles against you. You have to dodge the missiles of the enemy aircraft. The enemy missiles are yellow in color. When a missile hit you, you will see a spark of explosion on the plane. If too many missiles hit the aircraft, it will drop and crash. The number missiles you have is displayed on top of the screen. Every player is equipped with 27 missiles since the beginning of the game. The aircraft won't be affected if it collides with another aircraft. However, it will crash when it collide with a parachute army. The parachute army will appear every now and then. This online flying game offers several aids displayed in the screen to help the player accomplish his mission. The scores are displayed on top of the screen. The high score refers to the highest score that is scored by other player while playing the game. Every time a missile hit you, you will lose a live. Each player starts with 3 lives. If you lose a live, the game will automatically restart on the same level. If you lose all the lives, the game will become game over. You can pause the game by pressing the pause button on the top right corner.
