By: Emily Ralph Home | Business

Now, once you have decided to bid on free tenders, it is essential for you to know what exactly tenders pertain to.

Free tenders are one of those open to almost everyone. These are advertised in the local newspapers, online bulletins, or business forums. One can track them down from the websites that are solely devoted to tender proposals as well.

As you already know, a tender is a business proposal to get the business initiated. You devise a business proposal to get the response from the potential suppliers to meet their future requirements. In a business jargon, it is entirely a procurement process where in every aspect of the business is legally bound. One has to abide by all the business laws while accepting or forwarding a tender proposal.

Moreover, a company is being chosen for the contract on the basis that its response is accurate and is completely profitable in the interest of the organization.

Format of the free tenders varies from company to company however the basic concept and the requirement of the tenders remains the same. Free Tenders can be from both the private and government sector. All the tenders have a due date and time, which are clearly mentioned in the RFP (Request For Proposal). Thus, the most important part of any tender is the deadlines, which are clearly mentioned in the proposals. Any responses which are received after the due date are not accepted in the review process.

You may easily find various websites online that cater to the updated and latest procurement and free tenders notifications to the general public. Three main basics that need to be considered essentially for free tenders proposals:

*Overview of the Company: It is the first section where description of company responding to the proposal is provided. The firm should include the history of its existence in the same field, for which the proposal is. Also, it should lay emphasis on all the projects of similar size or larger, which it has completed successfully.

*Response Section: it highlights the main reasons that how the company can achieve the requirements effectively. This section should compare the structure of the proposal with its ability to perform for that particular task, to make it easier for the clients.

*Pricing: it is a separate section of the tender proposal. If there are more than one pricing options given, then the response should mention the initial value, along with the pricing for the other alternatives. Annual Maintenance and licensing charges should be included in this section, with the exact values.

The number of people and organizations filing for the free tenders are comparatively larger and so is the extent of competition. This implies that you need to be very much accurate with your figures and proposals. A good presentation is what will reap you great bargains. This will help the client to understand the company’s profile and assess its potential to complete the project in proposed duration and amount.
