There are innumerable types of parasites worms living in human bodies, in which some are microscopic in size while others can be seen quite easily. These worms attack our human body and cause many infections such as, stomach aches, constipations, other diseases etc. To treat infections, generic Albenza i.e. Albendazole is widely used. Generic Albenza belongs to the drug family known as â€Anthelmintics’. It is an anti-worm medication i.e. it is used to treat infections caused by the worms. Albendazole works by preventing the worm from absorbing glucose sugar, so that the worm loses energy and dies i.e. it prevents newly hatched insect larvae worms from growing or multiplying in your body. Albendazole is used to treat certain infections caused by worms such as Hydatid disease i.e. echinococcosis, pork tapeworm neurocysticercosis, dog tapeworm and Infection of the nervous system caused by pork tapeworms. However, Albendazole can be used in certain patients who may show the following infections, such as: Tapeworms taeniasis, Trichostrongyliasis, Capillariasis, Cutaneous larva migrans, Whipworms trichuriasis, Common roundworms ascariasis, Hookworms ancylostomiasis and necatoriasis, Pinworms enterobiasis or oxyuriasis, Strongyloidiasis etc. However, the effectiveness of Albendazole in the therapy of Alveolar Hydatid disease caused by Echinococcus Multilocularis has not been clearly demonstrated in clinical studies. Few points have to be kept in mind before consuming the generic Albenza medication to obtain good results, such as: 1. Let the doctor also know, if you are in-taking or are planning to take any prescribed or non prescribed medicines, health supplements or any other OTC medications, vitamins etc. Also inform, if you drink alcoholic beverages or if you smoke etc. 2. Do not use the Albenza i.e. Albendazole medication, if you have any kind of allergy to it or to any ingredients of it and tell your doctor or pharmacist about the allergy and get treated accordingly. 3. Do not discontinue on your own and consult your doctor before doing so to avoid further problems. 8. Regularly, keep your appointments with your doctor and keep an eye on the progress or side effects that has been noticed during the complete course. If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, contact your doctor immediately. 9. Also, avoid smoking and consuming alcohol and alcohol containing beverages during the complete course to achieve good results. 10.
