A few decades ago my uncle went to Gulf in search of a job. Initially he had some struggle but then got settled there decently. My family and relatives were every happy on his success. He could visit us once a year only; during his annual twenty days leave. Those days were like days of festivity among the family and friends. He used to bring gifts to India in order to distribute among his kith and kin. Once he returned to his work place, there was no communication between us. We really missed him a lot. We longed for his special gifts during those days. In those days there was no method of sending online Gifts to India. I along with my sister once wrote to him to send cakes to India on our little sister’s birthday (as it also meant to be a precious gift for us all then). A few days ago, a courier person knocked on our door. It was my birthday. We were really surprised to receive a big parcel addressed in my name. We like those spongy cakes to India and beautiful flowers to India. We do love our uncle most because he loves us too. Every year we eagerly wait for his home coming.
