By: Amin Ramjee Home | Business | Marketing

Your customers are very important to you. You want to keep the customers you have, you want the customers you have to get you more customers, and you want more customers to find out about you based on promotion. There are many ways to accomplish each of these singly, but there is one way to keep your customers, get new customers from them and get more customers through promotion. It is through promotional items like custom beer mugs.

When you give your clients promotional products, you are saying thank you for being a customer. This helps keep your customers coming back, and even gets you recommended by those same customers to their friends and family. Where promotional gifts really shine is by getting you more customers. Whenever you give away a promotional gift like custom beer mugs, you will be putting your logo and company name on the gift. In the example of custom beer mugs, whenever someone comes over to your customer's house for a drink or dinner party, they will drink out of that mug and they will see your company name and logo.

Even if they do not realize it, whenever they see that, they are going to equate it with a happy memory. The more times they equate your company name and logo with a happy memory, the more likely they are to buy from you when they need something you sell. Custom beer mugs may seem like a simple gift to your customer, but they can continue bringing customers to you for years to come. A typical mug will last as much as 10 to 15 years if it is not broken. That means dozens, to hundreds of people may see that mug and see your logo, creating a brand awareness for you. When they think of the time they were at your customer's house, they will think about the logo on the mug and that can bring customers your way.

The reason you give your customers something like a custom beer mug is that it is a great gift that goes beyond the simple gifts. With these mugs, you are not giving just any normal type of mug, you are giving a mug that is a step above. You want to give your customers something they want because they will be much more likely to use the product then. The more they use the product, the more people will see it and the more advertising you get. Hundreds of people could see that mug and all it cost you was a few dollars. That is a great advertising budget for what you get in return. With custom beer mugs, you are giving your customers something that is better than a normal mug and showing them that you appreciate them as a customer. In return, they are advertising you whenever they use that mug around other people. It is a win-win situation for both of you. Don't discount the power of promotional items in your marketing.
