Golf Club Clones †A Good, More Affordable Option

By: Steven Morrison Home | Recreation-and-Sports | Golf

A typical golfer normally spends a lot of money on a good set of clubs, even if there’s no guarantee that it will really improve his game. Whenever golfers talk about clubs, it’s usually in terms of special features or design. Hence, competition is tough for top golf manufacturers, each trying to outshine the other in developing new styles, materials and designs. Whenever a new feature comes out, you can be sure that the competition is quick to improve on it, or copy it.

Golf club clones are a great investment for golf beginners. It is also a good option for an experienced player that wants to try a new style or club design without putting holes in his pockets. A lot of golfers still use the clone clubs they bought a couple of years back because they still perform at its peak. Remember that having an expensive set of clubs won’t make you a better golfer. There are golfers who boast of owning the best equipment but have high handicaps. Club clones not only perform well, in some cases they even out perform some top brand names.

If you place too much importance to brand names, then this type of club is not for you. Keep in mind that clones are not only made from quality materials, they also look very similar to their top brand name equivalents. The only difference is, they carry a different brand and are a good and affordable alternative to the top brands. Golf club clones are made using the same materials and design that top manufacturers use. Normally, clone makers use the same grips and shafts. This results to products that are almost identical to the top brand names.

While golf club clones are not the cheapest clubs available, they are of great value plus their quality is almost at par to the top golf equipment manufacturers. They are every bit as good as brand name clubs, for they are made by manufacturers and designers who dedicated their experience studying the top brands in golf clubs to ensure that their products are parallel to the best clubs in the market. In addition, most clones are very long-lasting, durable and reliable, made with modern technology and quality design.
