It seems that when it comes to pool slides the choices are almost endless. Many people assume that when they have their swimming pool installed, they are left to decide between getting a slide or a diving board installed for the young and the young at heart to play on. The truth is, that the best way to go is to have both installed. This is because, the diving board will sit at the deep end of the pool,and the slide will be at the shallow end. Also, older kids tend to gravitate to the diving board while the younger children will be drawn to the slide. With a slide and a diving board on your pool, your backyard can be transformed into your own private water park that will provide endless hours of entertainment for your family and friends on hot summer days. Also, because they come in such a wide price range there is no reason not to have a slide on your pool now. In fact, you can now even get inflatable temporary slides that work just fine for less that two-hundred-dollars. There are even inflatable water slides that can be floated out in the center of the pool that kids can climb on and use. Deciding on which type of slide to buy can be very difficult though, due tot wide range of choices that you will be presented with once you start to look. If you can afford it though, you just can't go wrong with a big twisted eight footer that comes equipped with a water pump. However; very young children can be intimidated by this type of slide. One option is to use a portable inflatable slide to get them started and then graduate them up to the bigger slide as they become accustomed to it. One thing is for sure though and that is that a pool slide will provide memories that will last a lifetime.
