Great Plains Support: Chicago, San Diego Dynamics Gp Partner Newsflash

By: Alba Spectrum Home | Computers-and-Technology | Software

If you have Microsoft Dynamics GP, formerly known as Great Plains Dynamics, eEnterprise, or even Great Plains Accounting for DOS and Windows, regardless of the version, please read your local and nationwide ERP and MRP support highlights. Latest versions of Great Plains were rebranded by Microsoft Business Solutions into Microsoft Dynamics family of ERP, Accounting and CRM applications under the name of Dynamics GP. Microsoft Dynamics GP is available on Microsoft SQL Server DB platform exclusively, however older versions of Great Plains Dynamics: 7.5, 7.0, 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 4.0, 3.2 were available on Btrieve/Pervasive SQL and Ctree/Faircom. GPA for DOS and Windows 9.5, 9.2 and earlier versions was available on Btrieve. Older Great Plains versions support may require non-Microsoft DB specifics and we carry consultants with this expertise:

1.Dynamics GP support plans. We encourage you to be current in Microsoft Dynamics GP annual support contract from Microsoft Business Solutions, as this plan gives you access to new Dynamics GP versions registration key, plus you have access to GP Knowledge Base on Customer Source. If your Great Plains version is really outdated and you lapsed in payment for annual support for more than three years, you may decide to support current version indefinitely in-house. In this scenario, we offer as-you-go support plan directly from our Dynamics GP Great Plains Support Call Center and Software Development Factory. You can purchase prepaid fixed cost support or pay per case

2.Great Plains Customizations Support. Here we are happy to stand out with our Great Plains Dexterity Software Development Factory. You can lean on us in GP ecommerce, industry specific add-ons and reporting, data migrations and conversions, EDI integrations, Retail and Barcode integrations, Supply Chain Management extensions to Great Plains. Special attention to GP Dexterity customizations code review, logic modification and version update

3.Great Plains on Pervasive SQL/Btrieve and Ctree support. Here we offer GP move and redeployment on new computer for auditing or data inquiry purposes. If you use one of the Pervasive or Ctree versions in production, we have full access to Knowledge Base and our consultants are trained to support Btrieve and Ctree

4.GPA for DOS and Windows support. Typical requests are to move and redeploy Great Plains Accounting for DOS or Windows on new computer, Vista or Windows XP workstation, or Windows 2003 Server. Feel free to count on us if GPA functional or technical consulting are expected
