Park model homes come in a variety of sizes, and with the plethora of floor plans available, these homes have a great many uses. While in the past such homes were looked to primarily as an alternative for time shares and vacation homes, more and more applications for these great abodes are being found. For example, savvy homeowners know that they no longer need to invite the family to stay with them in their own homes and instead may now send them to their very own park model homes on the property that double as guest quarters. Guests do not have to stay at costly hotels or make arrangements in advance, but drop by visitors are always welcomed with a place to stay. Entrepreneurs have realized that living in a particularly sought after vacation area can be turned into a tidy profit by offering reasonable accommodations to traveling families. Turning a portion of their own properties into income properties with the help of park model homes, seasonal and vacation rentals are now a cottage industry of its own. Of course, there is no better venue for placing a park model home than an RV park. Recreational vehicles are becoming a costly traveling alternative and with the skyrocketing cost of gasoline, they no longer present a viable option for many a snowbird with a set travel route and predetermined RV park spot in mind. With the help of park model homes, however, the use as a seasonal getaway is becoming more popular than ever.
