Aside from filming the fourth season of Grey's Anatomy, Chandra Wilson has been keeping herself busy by actively participating in fundraising activities. The 37-year-old actress, who plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the highly watched series, has a project involving a commercial with Procter & Gamble's Folger's Gourmet Selections. The commercial features Wilson with her three children, Serena, Joy and Michael as they appear on a documentary-style clip following the family's morning routine. The advertisement, which aims to help families in need, will be raising funds worth $150,000 for the Greater Los Angeles chapter of Habitat for Humanity. "Morning is a hectic time for so many of us. But in the midst of the hustle and bustle, there are two things I count on to make my morning special -- spending quality time with my family and the few minutes I give to myself to enjoy my cup of Folgers Gourmet Selections," the Grey's Anatomy star said. "I hope everyone will participate to help us give others the same opportunity." Wilson's commercial is one among the collection of advertisements on the Folger's website. In addition, consumers are also encouraged to create their own Folgers Gourmet Selections commercial about what makes their morning special. The website had posted complete instructions on how to make the video, which is fairly simple to create even for amateurs. Submitting a commercial isn't the only way that consumers can participate in the charitable cause, as they can also vote for their favorite commercials made by other people. Every vote would count as a dollar donation to Habitat for Humanity. Procter & Gamble has already allotted $150,000 for the Habitat for Humanity New Orleans, and is looking forward to raise funds of the same amount for the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the organization through these commercials.
