Biocom Technologies is the global leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of Heart Rate Variability products. The company was founded in 1996 as a Research and Development Company. Specifically, Biocom develops biomedical software and hardware products designed to monitor physiology for research and educational purposes. Currently the company’s focus is on developing state of the art Heart Rate Variability products that fit the needs of researchers, consumers, educational, corporate, fitness and professional services.
Heart rate variability (HRV) is a measure of variation in heart rate. This term has become widely accepted though in practice, one usually measures the variation in the beat-to-beat interval rather than the variation in the instantaneous heart rate.
Heart rate variability other terms used in the literature include "cycle length variability", "RR variability" (where R is a point corresponding to the peak of the QRS complex of the ECG wave; and RR is the interval between successive Rs), "heart period variability", "RR variability" and "RR interval tachogram".
Heart rate variability there are several methods for detecting beats including ECG, blood pressure, or pulse wave signal derived from a photoplethysmograph (PPG). ECG is considered superior because it provides the best waveform, which makes it easier to exclude heartbeats not originating in the SA node. NN is used in place of RR to emphasize the fact that the processed beats are "normal" beats.
Heart rate variability relates to the issue that your heart does not beat at the same rate all of the time. When you sleep, it falls. When you must run up stairs, it increases. Heart rate variability this ability to change heart rate is a measure of your ability to adapt to changes in the environment. Thus, as a simplification, decreased heart rate variability is bad (implies decreased ability to respond to changes in the environment) and increased heart rate variability is good. However, I caution that there is no clear clinical correlation with health and changes in heart rate variability.
Health assessment is a process by which members gain an understanding of the health, concerns, and health care systems identifying, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information assets, strengths, resources, and needs. Health assessment usually culminates in a report or a presentation that includes information about the health as it is today and about the capacity to improve the lives of residents. A health assessment can provide the basis for discussion and action.
Health assessment most of us become concerned about our health at some point. As a rule, this happens when we notice something is going wrong with our bodies, whether it is something visible or it sends us other alerting signals. Health assessment : these are called "symptoms" in both common and professional language. Most of our problems develop slowly and are very silent for some time. Health assessment this is due to the fact that nature has equipped our bodies with the power to adapt to environmental changes. This ability hides common signs of the problem from us. In a simplistic sense, we treat the absence of any symptoms as a condition of health. Health assessment - When any symptoms appear repetitively, we are forced to visit a doctor to seek professional help. What happens then. The doctor will perform an initial checkup and come up with an initial diagnostic hypothesis. Health assessment if there are any unanswered questions or it's not possible for the doctor to make a diagnosis, the doctor will then call for more in-depth instrumental (special testing, lab works, etc.) evaluation until the hypothesis is created and proved or disproved. Health assessment in any case, this is a process of finding a specific disease. In other words, the health assessment is limited to finding specific maladies. However the effects of more complex factors causing health problems or influencing how they are progressing remains obscured, or their importance is not adequately considered.
Health assessment more commonsense way of thinking would be to shift of assessing the level of unhealthiness or diagnostics of already existing diseases to a new paradigm of preventive health assessment. Such methods must be more effective at the early stages when no clinical symptoms have occurred. Are there any signs that will give a more in-depth health assessment? Modern science believes that the status of the autonomic nervous system can be considered as such an indicator. Thus periodic assessment of the autonomic function and its adaptation reserves allows for a full and adequate health assessment way before any typical clinical symptoms occur.
